Looking for input on a Walaceburg Imperial pint I have. I have the Imperial pint but the unusual thing about it is the lip treatment. It has what I'll call the "Helix" finish on it instead of the standard lip finish. The "Helix" lip finish is normal on the American pint. I show both in the attached pictures. This is the first Imperial pint with this unusual lip finish I have seen. Wondering if this is a rarer version. The third picture on the right is the close-up of the Imperial pint lip finish. My Imperial pint is 5 3/4" tall and the American pint is 5 5/16" tall.Any help is appreciated.Thanks.jaroadshow

Interesting. I don't know that I can answer your question although from your description it sounds uncommon. However, I do know where there is strong green/aqua example of that jar! Just up the street from me in an antique store. I've seen it a few times and have never bought it. Next time maybe I'll take a closer look.

MHJars : If you do purchase it, could you let me know if it has the same lip finish as mine . And if it is an American pint or Imp. pint ? Thank You jaroadshow

That's interesting...would that point to an early version of the jar? With the early American jars the helix weresaid to be use to help the makers line up the mold half's.
