Always looking for Blob top and Hutchinson sodas from Florida. I also collect center embossed Florida Coca Colas.

Chris,
I met you at the Palmetto show in January and I have tried to contact you several times but had no luck. I would like to get together and swap some photos of Florida bottles and I can see if I have any duplicates that you may want. Thanks, Robin Lennon rlennon@drtcpa.com

Neither one of you guys has shown us any Floridian Glass. What's up with that?

I'll be more than happy to post a few pictures as soon as I can figure out how to do it.

I can send pictures to someone's e-mail address but can't figure out how to post one to the forum. I have some pictures of some nice strap sided flasks and some rarer closures on sodas from Florida but I am too dumb to figure out how to post them on the forum. I get the "file is too large".

Now I'm real interested! Send me the pictures. connor.rush@comcast.net

Do you know of any bottles from Ft. Myers Beach, or Ft. Myers? My grandparents live down there, so it'd be cool to find them a bottle.

Wheelah23, I will send you some pictures maybe you can figure out how to post them individually. To address your question about earlier Fort Myers bottles. There was at least one bottler that used the Hutchinson stopper closure, it is embossed Gilbert Bros Ft Myers, Fla. It is an odd slug plate resembling an engraved mold. The bottom has a cross on it like the Arcadia Bottling Works, Arcadia, Fla. As far as I know I have the only Gilbert Bros that has turned up at this point. I will send a picture to your e-mail address. Ft Myers had an early crown top as well but I can't recall the bottler.

Here's the Gilbert Bros. hutch. Nice find on that one, if it's the only one known!

You don't see early Florida bottles too often. At least, I don't. This one's beautiful.

Hey Robin,

We come with INSTRUCTIONS now. They're kinda from a DOS perspective, but seems to work for many. Visit the Help Department, and see if that helps. Complain vigorously should it not be of assistance.

I like those ones you sent to Connor. Nice teamwork guys.
