Hi-Dave,
Thank you for your time & info-I appricate it[]!!
I found a blue wire-lidded mason jar in attic filled with these marbles when cleaning up there & I wondered if marbles were old And/Or Valueable....
I tried to research & indentify them myself..[8|]oh my..there are so many-New,Old,Makers,Colors-
Ive searched many different things-but was clueless & lost here...
So Again-I Thank You Very Much[]-Shannon
P.s. Cant-no dont want to imagine how long/or amount of looking mighta took me 2 figure out myself-[8|]!
Tony , First two marbles are slags . The green one is the earliest of the two . It is whats called a transitional slag . It should have a cut mark (pontil ) of some sort , might be a grounded faceted pontil. The blue one looks like a ordinary slag .....but does it have patches of red on it or is that rust ... and yes the 3rd one is a master type , maybe marble king .. makes little difference as value goes.
