My fiancee recently got me this jar because of my love of both mason jars and clovers. I am trying to narrow down a date just to know more about it. Also on the clover there is a molding flaw in the top two leaves where one slightly overlaps the other. Does this effect the jar at all?

welcome and that's a great girlfriend you've got there! the jar looks like a # 128 or 129 in the red book (does it have an HA trademark on the base or a mold #?) These were made from 1921 to 1950 and are not a big dollar jar (a couple bucks or so) But are a neat jar all the same. There are numerous mold variations so unless its a major oddity would not effect the value.
