Have a jar of some sort, and i don't know much about it. the lip was crudley applied. i happen to like the aqua color it has. is it true if left in the sun, the color will change?

Only clear glass from before about 1915 will change color with ultraviolet light. Aqua glass will stay aqua. Your bottle is certainly pre-1915, but if it's aqua glass...hard to tell from pic...it won't alter.
