Cans are coming into there own! Very few I find , except on hilltops, have any paint. I found a sixties Pepsi and a couple beer cans , once that were in fair shape. The steel bottom was very rusty. Now what was the name of that $1k can?! Lol!
They are planning a demo of one of the old buildings out there I'll be like a buzzard looking for those cans. There is a guy at work who says he has a old water can from bush
Yes, to wear me out physically! I believe the problem in the high acidity in the soil, it also is high in iron, which turns the dirt red, and produced the best tasting tomatoes. Leon, that's good work. I learned years ago, from an old gunsmith to remove rust from a blued gun, without removing the original finish, by using a 90 percent copper penny to scrape the rust away. Now the smith's now just use fine magnesium steel wool. That's finessing the blued finish, but sadly, when complete , you still may have pitting! So using chemicals and techniques that remove rust, and leave the paint, that's awesome. Post the instructions, I'll take my cue, and I'll give it a try. Be careful out there!
