I'm a two finger typer but normally pride myself on spelling and grammar, so I have to hit myself over the head from time to time too stay focused...lol

Cool patterns, I think. They look to be mahogany, and mighty close grained from here. Mahogany was often the first choice for pattern makers. There was a discussion recently on some similar wooden forms. Unfortunately, I can't find it.

I believe it was RED who pronounced them to be patterns for checking the intended shape/tolerances of the bottles.

Pattern making, unfortunately, is a vanishing art.

As to the Knox symbol, I dunno for sure, but you might have a look at this article.

Those are some beautiful forms. Could you take some more photos, please?

Thanks for the link, I see there was a knox plant in Jackson Mississippi from 1932-1953, I bet that's where these came from. Here ya go on the pictures, Man I need to figure out how to post multiple pics at one time. HAHA
