I bought this in a box of bottles at an auction. It has a ground off pontil on the bottom. Does anyone know what this is? Thanks! Mark

I have thought of all kinds of things; antique crack pipe, douche, oil lamp, lab device. I guess Mrs. F could have used it for all of the above.

I was thinking invalid feeder but I never seen one like that, especially in glass. Fly trap too but not quite right. Whatever it is, it must be a pain to clean.

If that is a glass tube going off to our right (that you can slip a rubber hose on), then I think it is an evaporator. It would have been used in a Chemistry Lab.
I'll see if I can find a picture.
