Ryan, don't take it personally even when it's hard not to. We get grumpy and most of us have learned to ignore each other when need be. I know I have.[:D]
The most common use for that type bottle I've noticed was cough medicine. Yes they are common but I like the tooled lip on that one. Similar forms and sizes were used well into the screw cap era.

These with the measurements marked on the sides are not quite as common as ones without them. I could see it commanding a $5'er in a retail situation.. The "3" looking symbol is for ounces..

I agree, very common plain druggist bottle that some local druggist would have slapped a hand written paper label on with directions. I have a few local druggists just like that. I have left them at dig sites as they are a way too common plain slick not worth the time to clean. Realistic value in my opinion maybe a buck or two if you're really lucky. Sorry. Just my thoughts.
