Hello:
I found these bottles during excavation of an underground parking area in Beverly Hills, CA just off Wilshire Blvd.
I suspect that the milk bottle is after 1900 but what about the tall bottle. Did it hold wine? Any thoughts about the age of either one? The wine appears to have been made in a turn mold. It is relatively crude, has a big kick-up, no pontil and does not stand up squarely.
Any help about age or history of "Burrs" on the milk bottle would be appreciated.
Thanks
Stefan

All I can say is that is one cool milk bottle no matter how old. But we need more, show us the whole bottle. Need to see the top, the base, are there any numbers on the heel, etc. Also you may already know but you can reply to your original post if you need to add stuff, pictures, etc.
