This is one of my dad's old bottles. On the bottom it has the word WINE and under that it say W1044. It also has a 7 on the bottom and on the oval where the word wine is it has a diamond shape part inside the oval part outside the oval. It has air marks and says ONE PINT on the front. It has an uncontiunance screw cap that is metal.

Thanks for helping me figure out the age of this bottle.

hi penny, what you have there is a 1944 wine bottle i think, could we see a better pix of the bottom?got any other bottles youd like to show wed love to see emm mike

Yep, wine bottle. Sounds like it was made by the Owens-Illinois glass company. Is there a number to the right of the diamond? That will determine the exact age.
