I've been diggin for quite a few years and never thought i would dig a bottle like this, I just dont find bottles like this in my neck of the woods, me and a buddy have been diggn a dump where the bottles date to 1885 at the oldest, that was until today, we dug for a few hours didnt find alot just the usual meds and such, on the way out i noticed a few shards of toc glass started probing and heard that sound that just makes you cringe, so i started digging, and i couldn't beleive my eyes. some people might not think much of it but it is the oldest and best bottle by far that i have ever dug[:D][:D][:D]

Very nice, Albert!!!

I was next to my digging buddy back in the early '70's when he pulled out a black Townsends... And all I could come up with was a C. A. Richards with the backward embossed letters/numbers... I was soooooooo jealous...

Very nice find. That is the kind of bottle that keeps you digging hard. Wonder what other treasure may be in that dump?

Sweet find, Probezilla! I have only ever dug one Townsend's. It was bright teal, iron pontiled and PULVERIZED [][:'(][:(]. Glad to see that you had better luck with yours. ~Jim
