Morphine ampule?

It is an ampule used for drugs for injection or for lab chemicals. It is something that is probably not more than 40 years old and could contain something hazardous. I wouldn't break it open.

I may be wrong on the age but I used them hundreds of times in my 20 years working in a laboratory and I am sure it is an ampule for drugs or chemicals.

it could be farm animal vaccine, drugs , or anything. They have been using those at least since WWII.

Gene, try googling "ampule" and looking at the images, you'll see what I mean.
