PhilaBottles, The second pic from the top of this page has the top of a bottle poking in from the bottom right hand corner. I found just the top of a bottle yesterday that looks exactly like yours. It was on a sandbar along a large creek scattered with various pieces of stoneware, and other glass. This spot is downstream from a village founded in 1805, and just happens to be public recreation property. The piece I found has what looks like brush marks that go around it, I'm guessing from turning it while shaping. Is it safe to say that this bottle is pre 1850? And is it also safe to assume that my ass needs to be upstream from this spot ASAP? Thanks,
Josh
