This is my oldest one. If I'm not badly wrong it should be from between 1820 and 1850. If somebody has diffrent ideas please tell me, don't let me be happy and stupid. Better be happy and smart.
P.S. I have some problems uploading the picture. Sorry!
I only have a couple. So, I'm holding on to them. The other is a piece from the Nantan Meteorite. You have a pretty diverse and interesting group off items. Thanks for showing them.
Great thread! You folks have found some incredible artifacts. Figured I'd post these anyways. I've been told that these Hunnywell Spice bottles were dated from 1860-1870.
That's fairly early in Calfornia's history. I was lucky and very happy to dig these.
One more try with my oldest bottle. It's a three pieces mould with crude aplied lip and lots of bubbles. My estimate is 1823 to 1850. Please correct me if I'm wrong.
No, Ben, this bottle was obtained in that shameless way when people with a shovel, decent back and a will for collecting don't have time for digging, scuba diving or river picking, choose the back door and buy stuff on Ebay. I'm not worthy...
