I have a photo of a pontiled apothecary jar. This jar was identified by a Westmoreland Glass collector as being made by Westmoreland Glass from 1900 to 1905.
My question is do you think this is from 1900. Any thoughts about when the apothecary jars stopped being made with pontils.

Hello all. I don’t know what type of bottle this is called. It is one liter with four pinched sides. If anyone knows anything I could use some help. Thanks
I was roaming around Ebay and came across New York State surplus listings. I checked some of their stuff and was amazed. The quality of the listings are horrible. The titles stink, the description are almost nonexistence and one photo per listing that is not that good. There is a link to a...
Has anyone seen one of these? The bottle stands about 11 1/2" tall and is embossed: UNION MADE RIGHT LABEL THE FURTH CO.
I would like to know where it is from and any value info would be nice.
I found a web site with lots of bottle brushes. I believe this is the company that made the brushes I use. They work well with little complaints. The metal handle leaves a mark around the neck of some bottles. The mark they leave looks like a pencil line and can be cleaned with and SOS pad. I...
I got this ironstone type item this summer and I don’t know what it is. It stands about 3" tall and is embossed: pat jan, 30-12 (?)The 12 might be a 13 or an 18.

I think this is some type of insulator but that is just a guess. Kind of looks like a...
I can’t find anything on this bottle. It stands 5 ½†tall is a three sided triangular round back (like a KV poison) and embossed: PATD 1875 G.T. BARNEY
Any ideas?
I have some questions about this flask. It has a strange seam and guess it is a strange three piece mold. I outlined the seam in yellow. The seam is the same on the front and back and is very faint.
I think the bottle was fire polished. The glass has a high gloss.
So here are my...
I just got an unusual Midget lid. The lid is in amazing condition. It has a CFJ logo on top. The lip is wider then a normal lid and it is unlined. The lid fits a Midget jar just great.
Is this the Beehive unlined Midget lid that list for $200 -$400 in red book ten?
I have a flask but not sure if it is free blown with no pontil. There are no seams. Anyone know how this was made and the time frame. The bottle is a beautiful strawberry puce.
I found some nice bottle photos on the web and thought I would share. Finding bottles on the web is easier than digging them but not as fun.
