Does anyone have any ideas on what the Stone is! Its 9" long and 1 1/2" wide! Has what looks to be straight cut marks on it! It is smooth! Thanks! Genno!

Closer pic! The Hutch is a Mooshers or Moshers Steem Bottling Work Lock Haven, Pa. Stovink Johnson Laboritories Poison and a Cast Tanker truck with driver!! The Stone was laying in the creek!!!

maybe its a sharpening stone??id think the lines woud be longer if it was though..........just a crazy guess[8|][sm=lol.gif]

I remember there being something like that stone posted a while back...Could it have been for a loom for textiles? Just a guess.

Your stone is indeed a sharpening stone I have one like it I bought at a sale I still use. :)

gotta love those poison bottles with the bumps or ridges , that was so you could tell it was a poison even in the dark..

The stone is a whetstone/sharpening stone and is likely more recent than the bottles you found. Nice bottle finds!
