New addition to the bottle collection

Hi, just got this bottle off eBay. It came with a real round hole near the bottom, I don't think it's a dent or anything, was wondering what caused it. Anyway, judging from pictures of cans and stuff I'm guessing it was made in the late '70s perhaps? I think it's neat looking, so I bought it.

Looks more like the round indentation that a rod hooked into to spin the bottle around when the ACL was applied...
