well I finially had it done, after about 10 years or more I had my ernia, fix, took them about an hour to patch them back in , there were 3 of them, the hardest part of the whole thing was coming off the anesthesia, went in Wednesday at 6:00 and was home by 3:00, they cut me at 7:30, the DR. told me to lay off of all digging for 3 weeks , Thurday when I woke up I felt fine so the wife and me drove around Maine site seeing, stop in a couple of places and bought some come bottles, here some pics, can't wait , two week left, go back to work tommorrow, can't lift anything heavier than a bucket of paint[:D]

HI Caretaker, nice buys!
In January I dug a bottle that looks exactly like your elixir bottle, except the embossing on mine says only " ELIXIR OF / THE PHOSPATES " no company name. It's really early, almost pontilled. It was broken in half, but I glued it together because I had never seen one before. Your bottle is the closest I've seen. What does your embossing say?
