Hey. I was walking along a well traveled, hard packed gravel trail, NOT looking for bottles or such, just a walk through the wooded trails. I stubbed my toe right on the bottom of this bottle! Yes, I know, should be wearing better shoes than sandals, but, hey, its summer, and I wasn't searching for bottles....just a walk in the woods. At first I just thought it was the bottom of a broken bottle (after all, it was buried in the middle of hard clay packed South Jersey trail where 4x4 trucks roll through for hunting). However, I had to slake my curiosity, so I reached down and scraped it out with a big stick. Low and behold it was COMPLETELY intact, almost flawless 1 pint Abbots milk bottle! WOW! I wasn't even prepared for that find...in the middle of the road!
So, now, I don't know too much of the rarity of the 1 pint Abbot milk bottles. I know about the "normal" sized, (1 quart, and larger ones), but I never knew about the smaller sized ones. Can anyone give me an idea of how rare these are today?
