went for a walk in park and found 30's-40's era dump and some bottles

found a small dump site in a local park , sort of an odd location near a walking trail , that is near a lake but has rock cliff nearby . I'm thinking it might be an old campsite dump as property had camp sites on it at some point but is now all forested . most of the bottles were broken and from 30's - 40's era . did find 1 not broken milk jug and a wine bottle as well is some ketchup bottles that were not broken . also found 2 shards from broken local milk jugs . one is from " Huntsville Dairy " and be 50's era a bit newer than rest of dump and other all that I can read is " CL" however there was a dairy in Huntsville in late 40's called "cloverdale dairy " so I'm thinking its one of there jugs and it likely have been a rare one too as it only operated for a couple years

the not broken milk jug was for " City Dairy " from Toronto Ontario likely 30's-40's era , likely brought up here by a tourist , in very good condition , shocked when I pulled it out of the ground not damaged as it was near many rocks and everything nearby was broken

the wine bottle is from Jordan Wine co Limited and has a date on bottom registered 1932 . is a lot of embossing on bottle , including name "Jordan" and many grapes and grape vines , haven't seen one before that I remember

defiantly a 1940s your flask is a wine,thats why there is no fed law prohibits on it.

the wine bottle is Canadian that's why there is no federal law on it , that wasn't on Canadian liquor , Jordan wines is from Toronto Ontario / town of Jordan ? Niagara peninsula area is known for its wine . I plan on going back to this mini dump and seeing if there is anything else there , maybe later during day to avoid walkers who might wonder what on earth I was doing .

didn't want to start a new thread but found another neat bottle the other day but broken at a different location , a 30 oz local ginger ale " muskoka dry " . this one is different than one I already have in collection as its got a yellow label instead of white ( I attached a picture of it so you can see difference ) , but was broken so I taped acl label together to get a picture of it , would of been a neat one to have if not destroyed [attachment=P5270003.JPG]

went back to the dump in the park and dug some more , lots and lots of broken stuff , as for unbroken mostly just ketchup and jars , nothing that interesting , a lot of bugs so didn't feel like staying that long .in picture some ketchup bottles , one is for "Clark's ketchup of Toronto " , a broken coca cola and a broken " Webb's English stone ginger beer " bottle , never found one of those before ( attached a picture of what one looks like ) . and some more milk jugs and some odd 30's era jars that are same design but different size .

That is good you have started digging around, nice finds!The Webb's is sweet, killer embossing.
