what kind of lizard?

As long as folks are asking reptile questions, I've got one.

I have never seen the type lizard before if anyone knows what it is please let me know. It's about 5-6 inches long, when I first saw it it was darker that the pic shows and the design down it's back looked like xxxx's.

Anole. Like the little green lizards that are every where but brown. There are several different types of anoles in America. They belong to the Iguana family.
