Researchers found a bottle at possible Earhart crash sight. They are trying to positively ID it. Thought someone here may have the info they need. Really interesting article. Last few paragraphs explain the issue and need for a positive ID by comparison...
I am generally more interested in dates and names than value. Should have mentioned that this bottle is 3 1/4" tall and 3" wide.
Thanks for any help.
Charles
Found in 40-50's bottle dump. Looks like cologne or perfume. Any one recognize it? There is a partial label on neck that was blue foil and the following words are readable: shake to ....... On the circle label the partial word: windso....
Thought of Wind Song but they seem to use it as a two...

Received this as a birthday gift. Says "HEAD ACHE TABLETS " Then a circle logo and quite a bit of writing on the label. Some readable words are "Warm water and...." , "three hours" , " Manufactured by...." . I am curious as to the brand name if anyone recognizes it. The only similar...
Another Rummage .50 find. Frosted Glass, Whitish neck, seam over the top. Cork and Chrome shaker. Any thoughts on age or origin? Only markings on bottom are faint, 2-K-278.
Thanks,
Charles
.50 find at rummage sale. I first thought beer or somthing, but the partial label has words that seems to indicate some type of medicine. I will list the readable words on the bottle and would appreciate any help with an Id and date range. Thanks,

Another one on eBay. Seems like 1910 or 'turn of the century' is a little too early. I find these often in 1930's context, but they may have been...
Here it is: http://filmic-light.blogspot.com/2011/04/april-fools-still-not-snow-white-you.html
This is the one I find a lot. I'm on my iPad so had to link to it. It is About the 9th picture down on that page. It is called snow white cleanser for white shoes And that picture is dated at...
I've seen quite a few of those bottles, I recognize the 2oz indication on the bottom. They are usually shoe polish, I have found a few with an old rusty applicator and fuzzy ball still in the bottle and white residue. I've even seen an ad somewhere. I keep them when they are aqua colored.
I had accidently posted it in the before 1900 forum. I knew it was not that early and am not really sure how I got into that one because I rarely visit it. I've sorta got hung up on the milk white jars and bottles and seem to find plenty of them in many variations and hang onto to at least...
