Sorry Steve, I would do so but the creamer is still in the mail. It's due to arrive any day now. I am following it in USPS tracking. The photos I posted were the sellers images that were sent to me. As soon as it arrives I will take extremely detailed photos. I have a great Cannon Rebel and I...

    The new creamer :)

I just read an article that said they only produced glass for 10 years because he went bankrupt. Wow.... I also saw a photo of a flask attributed to the glass house and it was the same color. Amelung would make sense because the pitcher was purchased from the same area. Hm... blown pieces this...

    The new creamer :)

Those are the ones I was speaking of. I could not get the larger photos, thanks for those Steve. The pitcher came from a man in Maryland so it could be that old. That would be so cool. There are not many blown pitchers around from that era in American glass. The color is a greyish green and I...

    The new creamer :)

Thanks... :) Here is a link to an auction www.delmarvauctions.com/pa/catalog10.pdf Check page 14 on the upper right. There is two master salts there. One has the regular flatter petaled foot and the other has a foot like this pitcher.

    The new creamer :)

Hey Steve, It's green. I've looked a couple of my books and I saw this type of foot on a salt and a sugar bowl. Mc Kearin calls it a petaled foot. Jen

    Wistarburgh 16 ribbed Dog Vessel.

Also, just found a website with a dog drinking vessel that is thought to be attributed to Wistarburgh. http://www.whimsey.org/ColonialDays.htm and another... http://www.wiglaf.org/~aaronm/travel/newyork_082009/tn/Bottle.jpg.html

That's way cool. I always love to see your collection Steve. We have the same interests in glass. I have a stunning creamer coming in the mail and I would love your opinion on it. When it arrives I'll post it. Thanks for posting the dog. I have never seen anything like it. I think it's neat.

You can say what you like but I am not joking when I say people will call the cops, so you'de better be digging with permission, as we are doing. I don't know what it's...

    Your First Dig

I thought it would be fun if everyone told stories about their first digs....... My first dig was when I was 6 or so. I was hiking through the bushes with my brother and we found a 1950's dump. We dug up some clorox bottles and a milk. We had to stop digging because the dump was full of...
