Anyway you can post some photo's that are in focus? Could be Vitro but hard to guess from the photos. I dont think its conqueror though but could be like I said really hard to guess from your photo's.
Just wondered how common this is. I found this ball ideal a few months back and ever since finding it I check the bottom of everyone I come across. So far this is the only jar ive seen with a reversed number. The number 3 on this jar is flipped. The only way to read it right is to look down...
I went into an antique mall yesterday and the nukes are moving in. There was one booth that was nothing but 100's of purple bottles. All sizes shapes and companies.
Thanks guys. I have read his page before I guess I should have specified as far as half gallons and Quarts go since those are the ones you usually find in the range of colors. Ive never seen the repo half pints in person but have run across many of the Mason Pat reproductions. Ran across a...
Here's my first attempt at making marbles. They arent finished yet ive sanded and hand buffed a little but they still need to be machine buffed. Pretty happy with the way they turned out giving I had no clue at what i was doing other than a little youtube watching about how to work clay. Anyway...
Yes the lid fits perfect, seals up great. Everything looks right on this jar its not a repo. As far as I know they havent started making reproductions of the perfect mason jars yet. Ive seen nuked and stained jars but know reproductions. Has anyone heard of a repo perfect mason id be interested...
Thanks MNJars, Botlguy. Yea I wasnt sure what color green to call it. Its a pretty deep bright green for sure and the Ideal is really cool love to find a jar like that people just set a side.
Next I found this really neat amber swirl Ball Ideal Jar. Its almost split down the middle. Not a lot of swirl its like the whole right side is amber. When you hold it up and look at it it appears an apple green color on that one side. Great day for this jar nut.
Found a couple of nice jars today. Heres a Mint Apple Green Ball Perfect Mason or thats what im calling it guess thats a matter of opinion from person to person.
I picked this Hemingray 42 up at a flea market for a buck. Love the Dragon fangs and this one isnt embossed with Hemingray - 42. It does have made in the USA but thats it. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic but you can get the picture. You guys ever seen one like this?
Thanks for the replays! I thought it was a neat piece Im a collector so I plan to keep the mount to use.Your right botlguy they are spring threads. The 42's are in perfect shape so ill resale them to cover the cost of what I paid for it. Speaking of Dragon teeth 42's. I picked one up a couple...
Picked this up at a flea market today. I have a few of the wooden post but never seen a metal mount like this one before. It had the three Hemingray 42's on it when I bought it. Any info and value you may know on this mount would be great! Thanks in advance!
Micah
Really hard to tell what you have from the pictures. You really need several views from the same marbles. Also only take photos of 3 or 4 marbles at a time. Theirs a few interesting looking marbles. If you get time break them down take more shots and maybe we can help.
