Ok. So I opened the bottle and smelled the inside to see if I could detect after shave or any odor. This made me immediately dizzy and gave me a headache. It's been about an hour and I'm feeling much better. Anyway, here's a picture of the inside. I won't be opening it again!
I'm leaning towards ink or after shave. Makes sense about the opening being too small for face cream. I'm thinking this bottle is older than pond's anyway because of the grooves on the bottom of the glass and no seams. I love the color. Maybe opaline?

I came across this decanter and I love it! I would love to know more about it but can't find much information on the Internet. I've researched all types of decanters; especially Deco, Victorian and Georgian. The decanter seems to be closest to Georgian style but I'm not sure. Any thoughts?
