    Great info. I was not having any luck in the 1866 city directory. Maybe looking in the wrong place. Zumwalt shows the bottle on page 58, but doesn't provide any source info. It does show "ext. rare-12*" Thanks dumpdiver, nhpharm and saratogadriver for the help!

    Yes, threadless. It is 4 1/4 inch high and 3 3/4 inch diameter at the bottom; about 2 1/4 inch diameter at the top.
