    Torpedo or Pin bottle?

I'm so sorry! I forgot about this thread! Haven't been on here in awhile! I asked the same question about mine & got this response, "its a common soda water bottle from around 1900 +/- a few years".

    Pick my detector!

Now my husband, the engineer[8|]...LOL...wants to know what the difference is between a mid-grade & high-grade metal detector? Is there a frequency output difference & does it really pay to have multiple frequences?

No dealers that I'm aware of, but I'll check the yellow pages again! Thanks for the other names of makers!!! I'll be using it to find anything & everything. Nothing in particular! I just love findin' old stuff, even though I particular love bottles.

    Pick my detector!

Alright! There's just too many options & I don't know which one is best for my condition. Which would you choose if you had 140 acres that's been used for cattle, crops & forestry since forever. There's 2 old foundations & MANY long ravines & low places. Money is not an issue, but I don't want...

    Metal detectors?

Are metal detectors a good idea? I live on 140 acres & have a good idea of where some old bottles might be. I'm only aware of one privy for sure since I talked to the previous owner today. He said there's probably more, but that was the only one he recalled. My husband thinks that if it's a...
