I have an old friend who collects Mickey items and if anyone has anything old or unusual I would be very interested in seeing it and discussing if some kind of deal could be made on it...thanx in advance....Jim

I had/have an old "view finder" from the 60's. That is some of the best colorations I have every seen. Don't know if I have a mickey reel so I'll check.

All the years I was in collecting as well as buying and selling , I never did come across any nice vintage pieces of Mickey Mouse memorabilia . I had a double faced Mickey and Minney cookie jar once and had a friend who had maybe ten nice early Mickey articles . He passed away a couple of years ago and his family auctioned off all his collectables . Good luck on your quest Jim .

Post from the past...........................but I had dead batteries.

From the early 50s I think. Has a glass face. Part of my collection of banks.

Jim Bob,
Thanks for the heads up on the other, if it would have been an R it would have been a must have.

Had it for close 10 years. Can't take the tape off w/out taking the paint w/ it.

Wonder how long it's gonna take before it falls off ?

THIS IS NOT FOR SALE!! This belonged to my grandfather who was born in 1934. My dad actually has a picture of my grandfather rocking on this when he was a little boy. I'm not sure of the age, since Mickey was created in 1928, but I figure it came from the early 30's. Its all original, including the paint. The only things that are not original are the rockers.

I asked my Dad and he said the rockers got broke from my grandfather and his brothers rocking on it over time. My grandfather was the oldest and had 3 brothers after him and they all took their turns with it. He said one of my grandfather's uncles made some new rockers when the others were damaged.
