I'm pretty sure a part of my property (just N. of Huntsville TX) sits on top of an older forest dumping sight. Here are a few items I have found in a washout that runs from my property into an adjacent creek. The shoe polish bottles were all together in one pocket along with stacks of unused rubber heels and stacks of decayed shoe soles, so I think these things might have came out of a shoe repair shop. The shape of the sunglass frames apear to be from the late 40s through 50s. The Western Union sign came up in a different area of the wash and I don't think that it was part of the shoe shop items although I may be wrong. I'm surprised that the Western Union wasn't totally rusted out because the ground is very wet here and it has obviously been buried for quite a while. I may need to break down and buy a metal detector
