I'm kinda iffy about God and all. Being brought up in a strick Southern Baptist household I know I'd burn in hell for just doubting. My 80 yo Ma would flip for me saying that as well as my Uncle Jimmy.........the finest living man I know.

However if God does exist and miracles happen......this is one.

This is Paula and mines 10th grandchild Brody Blue McGukin.......named him after the dog.........no Blue, who the hell would name their dog McGuckin.

The story goes........

Baby Daughter started having major problems the 1st week in December, in her 14th week her water broke. The Drs. said there was an 85%+ chance that she would have a miscarriage within two weeks. She was devastated......I let her know it was gonna be allright......told her I was Pat Hall and I make thing's happen, I was going to make sure she had this baby.

So we moved her into our living room along w/ boyfriend []. I cooked her breakfast every morning, dinner every day and supper every evening. It just was not breakfast in bed here.I made sure she did get up at all..........well almost at all......the bathroom was only 10 ft. away.

She was here for two months.................then in the first week of Febuary the hospital took over. Momma stopped by every day on the way home from work to make sure everything was alright. Boyfriend was there too[;)]. Better had been or I'da beat him within inches of his life...........seriously.

Then on Feb. 8 things started happening............baby was coming...........3 months early. C-section....2lbs. and a few ounces.

......but check this out. Today, his actual due date 8lbs. and 7 ozs.

Been a long time since we had a baby here, the others are 7-14.

You got a make up a name you want to be called now if you don't want to be be called Grampa, Gramps, Granddad, popop, etc It gives some time for it to sink into their heads.

I told my daughter when they were born to start telling them "Popyo" it comin.

The 2 year old calls me Popeyo. Its better them Gramps [8D]

Pat ~
CONGRATS to all ~ What a nice story ~ These are the family events that bond you all together and make lifelong memories ~ The babies will grow and decide what to call you on their own. IT IS THEIR CHOSEN NAMES for us that may change as they grow that touch my heart deeply. Mine has changed several times along with a funny story attached. We recently had a new addition to our family and at my grandson's birthday party the newest member got passed all around like a hot potato till it was feeding time ~ I look @ each and everyone as a miracle ~ I hope everyone is healthy and happy Pat ~ Seeing a baby in your arms looks good on you!
