Philajdh invited me to dig with the guys last sunday in wilmington. Of course I dropped everything and drove off without the camera scratcher and other gear! Nothing remarkable to show, but it was a nice day and we enjoyed the dig. Also havent tried to post in the new format...

Oh good...the photo showed up...Guess polar star is common but its local here...

Three 12' deep brickliners were opened. The best part was that I got to root through one of the trash layers! Thanks guys!

Congrats on your finds, nothing like rooting through some layer.

We had a good time, all three holes had a good bit of layer in them, mostly late 1800's, some decent local meds and sodas were found, along with the usual assortment of marbles, common stuff, and cool broken things. This iron pontil Morning Star bitters topped the list of cool broken things...can't win 'em all!
