Over this spring break from college my friend and I dug four privy’s and this post is the last one. The house was built in 1857 and was owned by a F. Potts Green who was a local doctor. It’s a huge brick home which I will get a picture of the front of it tomorrow when we go back and finish it. We dug a little over half of it and found this many bottles already. The bottles date from the 1870s-1880 so there must be an older hole in the yard somewhere.

Can any of you poison collectors tell me if this poison is American or English and a value too?

Here is one for you people who like actual digging pictures. We missed it a little by about two feet where the bucket is sitting. We noticed something was wrong when there was only ash on one haft and all the stones from the other half were stacked flat which was the stone wall.
