before we go on, i must say the owl was damaged and didn't make it through the cleaning, broke apart as soon as it was half full of water

Yeah but a hood can only hold so much. Had to use the table and under the truck. The best stuff got wrapped up right away and put in the car!!!! Can never be to careful.
