Heres an 1800`s Hair Tonic bottle and the label says it can promote new hair growth. The label under directions for use say its used to PRESERVE AND BEAUTIFY THE HAIR and FOR DANDRUFF and Baldness. Also AS A DRESSING AND TO KEEP THE HAIR IN PLACE
Bottle has a little bit left in it. Embossed on the otherside is FOR THE HAIR on one side it says KATHAIRON and on the other it says NEW YORK, Can anyone tell me if this is a common bottle or maybe a scarce one.
Thanks

Lyon's Kathiron was one of the most sucessful early hair products.

They made it over quite a few years. It a bit hard to tell the age of your from your photo, I'm guessing its an 1880-1890s one.
