Hello I got the reference ro me! Wow! I am just an old farmer boy that has spent 77 years playing with the world of glass making. No doubt in my minrd, I think the bubbles camre from the condition of the metal in the crucible melt. /a lot of recognizing a proper condition of the early glass had bubbles in the product, Sometimes other interesting stones, or contamination. They were usable if they didn't leak. That is my guess. RED Matthews

I once had a screw top honey amber vaseline bottle with many many bubbles through out..it was from 1915 or a bit newer and had been left behind by the diggers of the dump..to me I loved it..value of course was very low..I could run my finger inside and fill the bubbles very nice..JAMIE
