I am new to this site...great board. Got these 2 jars at a recent auction and can't seem to find any similar ones. Anyone know what they are. They say THE IMPERIAL with a C embossed over an E as the logo.

Hi KB : Welcome to the site. You have the fairly common Canadian, E.G. Co. Imperial fruit jars. Looks like you have the quart and pint sizes.
Not exactly sure of value but I believe the pint is slightly worth more. Nice jars to own. I believe they were made in Montreal. But could be wrong.

They have rough edges on the lip...does that make them early 1900 ?

According to Redbook, the imperial quart is worth $25-$30 and the imperial midget pint is $40-$50. Of course, they each need a glass lid and zinc screw band. Figure about half that without the lids. And, assuming Canadian manufacturers switched to machines about the same time they did here, rule of thumb is ground lip=before 1900, smooth lip=after 1900. -Tammy

Your Gem jar looks fairly common. Redbook #1059 $6-8 with the lid. Maybe a little more in reality.
