Old topo maps show a house nearby in 1913..
Haven't dug anywhere... all surface finds, but I think I found the main dumping site yesterday... at least this jar was pretty easy to figure out :)

Can't read the year code to the right of the Owen-Illinois symbol. Looks like a peanut butter jar.
I read in comments on another collector site that it was peanut butter or pickles... think I'll find a lid and relabel it... it would look nice on the fireplace mantle :)

I think the no-dot was for the 1930s, so 1937 would be the year. The designs on the jar are meant to imitate a peanut. Lots of older peanut butter jars had that design on them.

Thanks for the info... I ordered a lid for it, will have to look for a peanut butter label of that era... played around with the printer just to see what it will look like (covid-19 boredom lol) will make a nice personal display item
