ATWOOD'S//QUININE/TONIC//BITTERS

Advertized fron about 1865 to 1900 that I saw by Charles H. Atwood, of Boston Mass. I'd put this at 1880-90's with the applied or not well tooled lip.

Some very light inside stain from being dug.

Ring and Ham A129 in the first book but with double collar.
This was the first bitters I dug back in the 70's. Heck, it's the only bitters I ever dug.
I submitted a line drawing in 1975 and got published in the April '76 issue of Bottle News under Carlos's Price Guide (Carlo Selari). Pretty exciting for a 15 year old. I was SOO proud!!Now's your chance to own a part of my history!![:)]

I'll include that issue as a SUPER BONUS!!!! Original drawing not included. Paypal or MO.

As a former BITTERS specialist I will comment that this variant is NOT easy to come by. It is far scarcer than the multi sided variant. The Ring-Ham supplement values it at $75+ and that is a bit low in my opinion. Someone needs to acquire this one. Jim
