It's been a long time since I visited this site (I had some life changing events that kept my hobby on the back burner). Since my last visit I had a child and moved to a new state (sucks now i gotta get in good with the locals so they'll let me DIG!!!!). Although I havent Dug in a long time i have slipped in a few auctions that reaped some nice bottles. I show those in another post once i get them cleaned. For this post I though I would Show My Favorite Piece, which I still have yet to identify. Any Help Would Be great Just Let Me know if any more info or Pics are needed.

first thing i thought was newer bottle. just looks newer to me. something about the glass has me thinking south jersey maybe 1930 or so. lets see the bottom. could be a nice bottle ,but something is not right with that glass, but then again i have been off from time to time[;)].nice glass none the less. ~MATT

I have to agree with Matt. The pattern does not look right. By no means have I seen a lot of the early Jersey tradition quilted bottles but the patterns are usually stronger in the ones I have seen. Besides that it does look right. The glass was often well mixed in the Stiegel and Wistar bottles and not very crude, and the lip treatment is correct...

Someone will know for sure...
