Barred Owl, and after the Nor Easter

Thought Id post a couple of shots of the hike I just took with my wife. On the way driving I thought I saw it hiding next to a tree, we went back and it was. This is the third time I have seen a Barred Owl in the past three years. I threw in a couple of my house before the dig out, and our hike by the ocean. Yes I have a little time on my hands now there is no football.

This is the only Snowy Owl I have seen in the wild on an island I kayak to. They linger sometimes and enjoy a steady diet of Eider Duck

It was really nice at the beach you could almost feel Spring is right around the corner

WOW! Beautiful up there where you live! Very nice wildlife! Can't wait for spring I might have a few places to dig! COME ON SPRING!

That last picture, that is ice around the light house, this storm pounded the coast. For the nature nuts like myself I hope you enjoyed please feel free to post any pictures of wildlife to ward off the cabin fever. I will leave you with this last photo of a little seaduck called a Bufflehead. It is the first decent photo of it because whenever I focus it dives underwater.
