I have two bitters bottles. I would like to know what they are worth. I may want to sell
them in the near future.
The bottles are square, dark amber, and embossed with ' M. G. landsberg, Chicago'.
They have a date on one side of; 1876. Second side is an eagle, third side is date of
1776 in a sunrise, and forth side is a stars and stripes in a bunting form. Where bottle
goes from square to found at top, the four corners have a medival ax, crossed swords,
stack of cannon balls, and a cannon. Bottle is 11 inchs tall. no pictures yet, but i'm working on it

Hi Gregg,
Sounds like you have a couple of good ones there !
Please post some pics when you get a chance.
It sounds like you have Ring & Ham's similuar to L-15 listing (Eagle) / " M.G. LANDSBERG / CHICAGO / -1776 " (inside sunburst) - (Shield)-"1876"
Several examples sold at public auction...... ) 09/ 93 in Glassworks auction $742.00
03/94 Norman Hecklers auction sold for $687.00
10/95 Hecklers auction also sold for $880.00
This can give you an idea of there value ...... And I could give you a closer estimate on value if I could see there coloration and condition.
Hope this helps , Brian
