Got out digging on Wed and one of the guys I was with pulled this out of his hole
Thought it was a vegtable compound because I had just pulled one out minutes before
But later we were all exchanging pics of our cleaned bottles and I noticed it didnt say Vegtable compound but had blood purifier under the Lydia Pinkams
I had never heard of this before how common or uncommon is this?
I told him I would post this because he has no computer at home. Only a smart phone

Yes, they are fairly common. I dug several of these in Jamestown, N.Y., back in my earlier days when I traveled up there. However, I want to say that they are still nice bottles.

Nice find. I've dug dozens of the Vegetable Compounds but only 1 Blood Purifier. Not rare, but a pleasant surprise to dig. The embossing is certainly more interesting too.

I have bought the common Lydia Pinkams Medicine version but never saw the blood purifier or the vegetable compound version before.
