Hello Fellow diggers...I found this blue torpedo bottle in my country Belize. the only writing the bottle has is the following "To be returned to S. Bernstein" Any information on the bottle would be greatly appreciated. Thanks
Hi,
Nice bottle / did this come out of water.
This bottle is English made and would date from around 1890 - 1900 and worth around $200- $250 as it appears to be quite worn and if there are no chips or cracks. It would be worth more if it was for an English manufacture with a town or city mentioned on the bottle.
Tod lists one but didn't have it as English. I would have thought UK also.

More than likely not from an English company but certainly made in England. Belize was part of the English colonial empire so quite feasible that this bottle is from that country.

I found this bottle in the city, In the old days the city was modtly mangroves and swamp. The water table is at about 5 feet so it was definately soaked in mud and water for quite some time.
