Hi Joel,
Yes, I'm also a newsman. Lots of fun, but the hours can be strange. After all these years, I should be used to it!
There isn't anything old at the drum site, which is isolated in an old coal mining area. The area was used as a landfill, but anything worthwhile would be almost impossible to dig. One interesting find was this wrecked bus that was somehow hauled back there. Made an interesting photo!

Hey EP, The boat is my brother Tony's. He is taking the pic. The Ruckus that is touring now is just the reminents of my brother Wallace's band. He found gold in off shore electrical work and has been seeing the world.
Where were you stationed in Colorado? I was at Lowery. That is where I was when I Meet up with Sky Blue. The lead singer/guiterist worked with me at the base. They had a play date on base at the Airmans Club for 4 weekends and the bass player got sick so he asked me to step in. They dumped the other guy after that and I stayed with them for a year. Once they started to travel quite a bit I got them another bass player that I knew and they are still at it. Saw them on cable in their own 2 hour special. I went to work for ABS as my "other job"running sound boards for touring groups doing concerts all over the state. after two years of that I was retired out on a disability.
