It is a small bulk ink, white glazed and reminiscent of some French ones. Looks nice too!

RE: Bottle From the Middle of Nowhere

This is the first one I found here-in nowhere. I can't imagine the taste of Fig Syrup.
It.s clear, 2 1/4 x 1 3/8 x7" with fig syrup all Embossed over it. I'm wandering
if this is pre 1900 or not.

This is my sidekick on BLM land.I don't shoot any old bottles. Anymore.
It's a Ruger Colorado centennial. 28 yrs old. and a buck 119s.I tried my 1911A 45 cal. but ammo is heavy. My 380 is too weak. They will bounce off a pigs head .I chose 22 hv mag. Inexpensive Lightweight ammo.as well as penetration.Wild boar are the only animal I have problems with. Since they make alot of the trails I take.
In my travels, I have been followed by coyotes. I counted 5 moving from
place to place at dusk. I'm sure there were more. They're cowards and run off if you are agressive. But I don't carry teriyaki jerky with me anymore either.
Had an encounter with a rutting buck once. 4 points but big enough.Doe ran down a hill, saw me and turned left.10 seconds later, a buck did the same and stopped. Stood 30' away, snorting and pawing.
I yelled "Don't make me fkn shoot you". I am still relieved he wanted the doe more than a fight. I don't shoot anything I can't cook. Except targets and felons.
Just 3 weeks ago. I noticed something following me. Again at dusk.
I opened that eye in the back of my head. I noticed the only sounds at all were my feet
and a slight rustling to the right. At the top of the steep hillside I was hiking the foot of
was standing, The most awesome cougar I had ever seen. About 2 yrs old. 25' eye to eye contact. She Growled at me Immediatly. A sound I'll never forget! All I had time to do is yell HEEAAAA. One jump and she was gone. Ever seen a 3' cat in flight? awesome.
I love the woods.
