This is a very interesting post.I seem to be gathering a few out of the blue.Actually I've always had an attraction to flasks.These are some of the ones I have with the bottom embossed.I didn't know there were so many...AH OH.

A couple embossed "W.Mc & Co." #1 and #2.(Looks like they are trying to make #3[8D])Both have very drippy applied lips.

The only one I could find any info on was the A&D.H.C." A&D.H.Chambers Pitts.Pa. 1843-1886.
This one is not a strapped side,but since we're talking about bottom marks...The only other time I've seen this mark was on a fruit jar.I wonder if they are related???
