Should I be discarding broken bottles? or should I be repairing them?

I see someone selling broken cokes on ebay for $500+ & now someone wants $300 for a couple of broken coke shards glued together. LEON.

I think that depends on the bottles and you, doesn't it? If you got a rarer one and want to display it, yes. If it's a common worth nothing bottle but maybe if you want on the shelf for sentimental reasons, yes. If it means nothing to you even of whole, chuck it.

I found this Broken Gruel & Ott just yesterday in town dump. Decided to keep it anyways because it's different then all the others I have or seen or find. Tops broken but might be a Hutch? LEON.

I think it just depends on you. I keep what I like, it doesn't matter what it is.

its something bottle collectors must decide and often there unsure what to do with broken bottles , i saw an antique dealer a few weeks back , he showed me a broken rare local bottle he didn't have the heart to throw out . i think alot of people keep broken bottles if they think they found something rare . i wouldn't see any point in keeping the broken bottle if its a common bottle
