As I stated in your previous post this piece is a CD (Consolidated Design) 115 and in that color (blue shades, no green) very common and not worth much, a couple of bucks. However, since you dug / discovered it, it is worth a lot sentimentally. Perhaps it is the start of a lifetime hobby. I collected bottles and insulators and fruit jars for a LONG time and insulator collecting was the most satisfying, the people in the hobby are very down to earth. Jim
Well, no, slap MY mouth. I didn't go far enough in the look-see, it does have SDP. That makes them worth $30 - $40 in my OLD Price Guide, perhaps more now. Thanks Muddy, for your sharp eye. I guess I've been out of insulator collecting for too long. Jim
Cool find. The current book (2011) lists these as 40-50, but as nhpharm points out, a Brookfield specialist will be very interested in this kind of piece and I suspect they'd be willing to pay a bit more. If the drip points are in good condition, that's a plus.
