Does anyone know the value of a honey amber repro of the Brown's Celebrated Indian figural bitters? It has Jamestown Virginia embossed on the bottom. I believe it was made in 1957. Any ideas on a value and how many were reproduced?

I found the one below on a completed auction on eBay Rob , it went off at sixty bucks . I have added the link below if you want to take a look at it . Not sure if it is the same bottle you have or not .

There is also another clear one on a live auction on eBay as well Rob . According to the seller , someone contacted him and told him it was made in Europe , and that there was four different colors of them made . Then again I do not know if it is the same as yours or not . Gives a small bit of info on them anyway .

The amber one on ebay is close in color, but it is a smooth base. The one I'm referring to has Jamestown Virginia embossed on the base. Thanks for the links.

I only have a couple of Toledo items and their all commons. The bulk of my collection is dug and I don't run across much from the NE end of the state. Are there any particular your after? I can always keep a look out down this way (I usually hit the Mansfield Bottle show and local Antique Malls). Do you have any Massillon, Ohio bottles (or surrounding Canton, Wooster, Millersburg etc)?

Thought I would add a couple pics. It is a 1957 repro commemorating Jamestown, Virginia 350 years (1607-1957).

ROB...in the last 4 -5 years I've seen less than 6 offered on eBay...I paid about $35 for mine, which - like yours - is missing the glass "Crown" stopper. []

Thanks for the info. The link had some pretty good information on the reproductions. They discussed a Jamestown repro with "Celebated" misspelled. Mine is spelled correctly. I have been trying to find out how many of the 1957 repro's were made - no luck. I will probably be selling mine in the near future but researching is fun. Thanks again.
